Affordable RV Roof Repair and Replacement In Indianapolis

Roofs we replace and repair.  TPO and EDPM

TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin)

Pros:

Offers better resistance to impacts and punctures.

Heat-welded seams create strong, long-lasting joints.

Naturally resists mold and grime, making it simple to clean.

Commonly available in white, providing high reflectivity for better energy efficiency and cooler interior temps.

Less prone to causing streaks on the sides of the RV.

Cons:

May not last as long as EPDM depending on climate and material quality.

Repairs can be more challenging in cold temperatures since it’s a thermoplastic membrane.

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer)

Pros:

Known for having a longer overall lifespan compared to TPO.

Its reflective surface can help keep the RV cooler and reduce air-conditioning energy use.

Cons:

More susceptible to punctures and physical damage than TPO.

Can produce black or white streaks on the RV exterior as the membrane ages and sheds.

Uses tape or adhesive for seams, which are generally less durable than heat-welded seams on TPO roofs.

Repairs can be harder to perform in cold temperatures.

Has poor resistance to petroleum-based products, which can cause permanent damage.

We do not replace or repair metal, fiberglass RV roofs at this time.
